Renovation Design Process

01
Existing Conditions  Review

Existing conditions are evaluated to understand layout, structure, and functional needs. This review identifies opportunities and restraints that will shape the direction of the renovation.

03
Design
Direction

A clear design direction is defined through material palettes, architectural details, and guiding visual elements. This framework informs all renovation selections and finish decisions.

05
Construction Phase Coordination

During the renovation, ongoing coordination with contractors and trades supports accurate implementation of the design. Clarifications and refinements are managed as needed to maintain alignment with the project direction.

02
Layout
Development

A new layout is developed to improve flow, function, and overall usability within the existing space. This stage defines the spatial direction that will guide the renovation.

04
Selections & Specifications

A comprehensive selection process defines all materials and finishes, including cabinetry, tile, flooring, lighting, and hardware. Organized schedules and specifications ensure the design is communicated precisely to the build team.

06
Project
Completion

As the renovation comes to a close, the final design elements and remaining details are reviewed on-site to ensure the completed work aligns with the design intent.
